About the Challenge

Driven by deep learning innovation, interest in artificial intelligence (AI) techniques has been mounting recently. AI techniques are expected to be promising and applied to various social systems.
Thus, we will need to review system behavior and warrant the quality, and enabling to explain the reason for an AI decision (explainability) is becoming more essential to ensure the secure and safe use of AI techniques.
Under the circumstances, the Special Interest Group on Semantic Web and Ontology (SWO) of the Japanese Society for AI (JSAI) decided to organize a competition calling for ideas of reasoning and estimating by AI techniques. The series of Knowledge Graph Reasoning Challenge has been organized to share knowledge and good practices and promote to development of AI techniques.
